         <description><![CDATA[<div>John Locke's impact on history was a large one. He influenced Thomas Jefferson, who was one of the founding fathers. This is partly who Jefferson had in mind when drafting the Declaration of Independence. Locke's ideas are what shaped the New World and helped people shape the old one.
