These vans are typically white and have a red stripe down the side. They can be hailed on the street or ordered through a telephone call.
 
When you order a taxi, you will need to give the driver your pickup location and destination. The driver will then take you to your chosen location, usually within 10 minutes of ordering. You will be charged according to the distance traveled, and there is usually no extra charge for using the Airdrie taxi service.
