Directions: As we continue our study of American Literature this year, the next literary time period you will be exploring is Realism, which took place during the late 19th century. First, with a partner, use the following resources that I have identified and provided for you below to learn about Realism. Next, start a new padlet (whs.padlet.org) where you can write down and organize the information you have gathered. Be sure to add pictures, gifs, or memes to illustrate the information you're providing, as well as add citations in MLA format for any information that you use from an outside source. When you and your partner have completed the assignment, please copy your hyperlink (Make sure it's blue!) and paste into the text box in Canvas by the assigned due date.
