By doing this Heritage project I learned many things. Such has there is a stone in Ireland called the Blarney Stone that people kiss, and it gives them good fortune for the future. Also that people in Ireland celebrate St. Patrick's Day very differently from here in America. In America many people go out with friends and drink ect. but in Ireland, all pubs/bars are closed, and everyone goes to church. I also learned how serious the country is in religion, specifically Catholic. About 75% of the population in Ireland in catholic.
