My favorite character is probably Amanda though. She's a bookworm and cares a lot about her books, like me. 
My second favorite character is of course Jeffrey. Jeffrey is a funny character and doesn't get a lot of things, which makes it so funny. Jeffrey also can do a bunch of close to impossible things, and that's why they call him Maniac. 
My third favorite character is Mars Bar. I like mean characters because they help the plot and the story go along. It's the same with sad characters, they help the story move along. Sad and mean parts of the story are great! :D
My last favorite character(s) are the McNab brothers. They lighten the mood a lot when it gets sad and or mad. They are also very funny characters. I think they're funny because they call each other food names, and they try to run away every week. I liked when Maniac started to yell at his Aunt and Uncle because they wouldn't get together to even watch the play he was in.
The second thing i like was that when Maniac  met Amanda Beale  because she was confused why was a white person in the east end?
Another thing I liked about Maniac was when he took a bite out of Mars Bar's candy bar because Maniac thought he offering him a bite, but he really wasn't.
I also liked the part when Maniac catches Brian Denehy's throw with one hand.
My fourth thing I liked about Maniac was when he went in the Pickwell's house and ate dinner without the Pickwell kids knowing.
Another thing that i liked is that when Maniac hit John McNab's frogball and got a homerun.
