The storage  compartments are opened from the side rather than the  back in an effort to make it straightforward and simple. Instead of taking off the bag to access your tools, you can simply reach to the side and open the flap. 
However, the spacious side pockets may not be ideal to store some equipment. The front pocket can be used for the tools that are more sizable than others. The pocket has a flap in place of a zipper, which enables you to more smoothly take out and put in the instruments you need to effectively complete your job.
