Saturdays for me are hectic, but productive. Yesterday, my family and I started our Saturday journey at 12 in the afternoon by going off for a Malay lunch somewhere around Taman Melawati. I forgot the name of the restaurant but it served myriad of Malay dishes and you will be spoiled with choice. We had grilled fish, beef asam pedas and 'sayur masak lemak'. It was indeed a good lunch until there was a major downpour that delayed our next activity for about 20 minutes. Once done, we rushed to a nearby mall, Melawati Mall to find my little brother's bag to make it easier for him to carry his art supplies to school. We searched everywhere, but nothing seems convenient enough for him as he is one clumsy boy. By 2.45, we then went to see a new condo called Infiniti, just nearby LRT Sri Rampai. My father bought a unit there but it's not for us to stay, it's for his new business, Air BnB. In this modern era of rising economy, I do think it is necessary to generate side income to be on the safe side. The new condo has a stunning view of Kuala Lumpur's skyscrapers like KL Tower and Tun Razak Exchange. This would be a remarkable view during festive events. By late evening, our stomachs grumbled for some good french toast, so we decided to go to Toast Box at Wangsa Walk Mall and as we were there, my father suggested that we watched a movie at night called Death Wish, starring Bruce Willis. So we bought our tickets and went back home to rest after a long day before we head out to the movies. By 8.50, we went out back to the mall to watch the movie. Being someone who enjoys the twists of crime, I absolutely enjoyed the movie. It had all the aspects that I look for in crime such as suspense, thrill and action. I had an amazing day and will always look forward to Saturdays at home.
