I just wanna say thank you, for this being my first time on this, it’s been the most exciting thing. I made many new friends, improved my singing and did so many amazing things. I couldn’t be happier with being there with everyone, I wish it would have lasted longer. This was a memorable experience I won’t ever forget 💕

i had such an amazing time with honor choir. im so glad i did this for 3 years in a row. as a senior, singing in choir has made my life so much better. you guys better keep singing because its such a healer to the heart and soul. keep singing guys!!!! and btw if anyone got instagram, follow me there if you would like @peterkildirian THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS FOR AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!!

I loved the teachers at CASMEC. From the conductors to the chaperones, many of them were choir teachers in some way or another. They knew the blessing and the struggle of taking care of students and they handled every single aspect of CASMEC with such grace. They give the pep that everyone needs, and I’m so glad I get to live in the same era as them.

Special thanks to Mr. Balajadia and Ms. Montoya. My role models, my mentors, and most important of all, my friends. Thank you for giving me the inspiration to get here and for cheering me on every step of the way.

Something about CASMEC

This year, we all partakes in a thrilling and most certainly amazing year of CASMEC. It has been an oversighted honor for me to perform and take a part in TTBB 2025. The chaperones are cool and share quite our humor, the people were fantique, and our conductor, Dr. Edryn J. Coleman, is an amazing person. Dr. Coleman really cares about his students, leading himself to talk with other students. At the very beginning of the first rehearsal, Dr. Coleman came right up to me and shook my hand. After that moment, I immediately knew I was gonna like him. Dr. Coleman is probably the best conductor I have sang under and I couldn’t be a spec grateful to meet him. I have met a lot of cool people, such as Brando, Tim, JJ, Joshua, Max, Maddox, etc. Each person, not just in TTBB, but in all of CASMEC, including orchestra and band, wants to be here and embrace a moment or fewclauded more. The food is always amazing, giving a quite frank touch of my day. CASMEC is a life changer and a highlight of the first chunk or 2025. Because of Dr. Coleman, I look forward to singing in TTBB and choir more often and maybe even majoring in choir(maybe music education)for college. Love you guys and thank you for not only a moment, but a memory forever.

This was my second year doing All State and I had so much fun! Music really does bring people together and being able to create such beautiful music together has been such and honor. To our conductor, Auntie E, thank you for making this such a memorable experience. To my choir, I hope that you continue to sing and I hope I get to see a lot of you next year. Thank you for all the amazing memories. I will always miss singing with you guys ❤️

Again, this experience and opportunity has been amazing from beginning to end. I'm joyful to have participated this year with a good friend and new friends. All-State has never been a disappointment and I always leave wanting to come back the following year. Watching and listening the other choirs and even hearing my own sing are the best musical experiences I've had. Thank you to all of the people who coordinated and helped at this life-changing event for providing this opportunity to people like me, and to all of my peers that made this year even more enjoyable. I also want to shout out and thank tía E for being an wonderful, inspiring person and director. Her lessons will resonate throughout my life as I manifest the dreams of my future just as she did. I will treasure all of our pieces as they make their way to a special place in my heart. I won't ever forget this, and I hope to come back next year to see familiar faces in a high school All-State ensemble. Wishing the best for you all moving forward in life, whether we meet for the first time, again, or not at all. And don't stop singing!

Beforehand, I was contemplating trying out for All State Choir. Although a fear of judgement and deficiency almost held me back from achieving my goal, I auditioned and made it, which was one of the best decisions of my life. It’s so cool to have such a diverse group of music students yet such similar hobbies and experiences. The choir pieces selected for the 2025 CASMEC All-State Choir were perfect for our choir, and I think next years pieces will be the same. Despite only having <3 days of rehearsal, everyone in All-State choir gives and equal effort to contribute to the success of the choir. The students in my hometowns choir don’t give half the effort as the student at All-State, which is why the harmonies within the songs are impeccable. So, if you were like me and contemplating if you should audition, please audition: you won’t regret it. And if you’ve already auditioned and made it, I insure that you’ll have a great time. If you auditioned & didn’t make it, don’t let your hopes go down! Just try again.

Whether your situation, I highly recommend the CASMEC All-State Choir Program. I hope to you take this review into consideration. Have a good day!

Being in all state really taught me what a team is. First, it taught me how to back off and sing with my people. Second, it showed me how to be an inferior member of a friend group. Last, I learned how to put my emotion and soul into music.

going to regionals and all state this year has proved to me that this is what i am meant to do with my life. i have felt such an emotional and profound movement in my soul from being able to participate in the high level that these groups are at. thank you to everybody who participated in all the choirs, and a special thank you to Dr. Adams (hs ssaa) for making me feel like im enough. 🫶

Where do I begin? This was my first year in honor choir and it was an experience I’ll never forget. From hanging with my best friend to meeting new ones, it has been a blast. Shoutout to my roommates for making the rooming experience one I’ll always remember! You guys were so much fun. We connected immediately and the laughs we had together were so much fun!! The nerves took over at some point, with getting to sing a solo and not feeling prepared, but the words and support from the chaperones helped tremendously. Meeting Tia E and her believing in me and giving me a shot at the solo meant the world. Hearing her pep talks and conversations about our futures and dreams will forever resonate with me. I’m already looking forward to the opportunity to sing in a high school ensemble next year. I will forever remember the 2025 All-State ensemble. I want to thank everyone who made this opportunity possible for me and all the others in the ensemble. I hope to reconnect with you all next year. In the words of Tia E, “We sing as a choir of one.” And we will always be a choir of one. I wish the best for each and every one of you. Keep singing 🎵🫶🏻

Many moments over the three days have showed me what a community of singers can become. Coming from a small school and a microscopic choir, it’s so refreshing to see hundreds of people with the same passion and determination as me. The SSAA choir came together to support anyone and everyone so much that we were told to stop applauding multiple times! A moment that sticks with me is our section making a strong syncopated beat with our clapping for JHS SATB. Thanks to everyone for making all-state so special!

It was so much fun getting to be a soprano 1 for SSAA. I met so many new people who I formed connections with. there were so many things that I learned and it was a really enriching experience. I loved getting to actually TALK TO COMPOSERS!!!! That was the highlight for me. And also, Dr. Dunn-Adams is truly a class apart. She was so silly, fun, and focused on making sure we were the best choir we could be, and truly made SSAA a fun experience. SSAA was honestly the best choir i’ve ever been in. I really would do this again. Jalapeño forever!!! 🤍

This was my first year doing all state and I can’t wait to audition again next year. Dr Molina was such a great conductor. She made the rehearsals so fun. The chaperones were really nice as well. Every day was really tiring, but it was all worth it for the amazing performance. I loved being able to watch other choirs preform and preview the high school choirs.

This was one of the best experiences of my life!

This was my first year doing all-state, and I’m so grateful I got the opportunity to sing with and listen to like-minded people. I truly learned so much from our director, Dr. Adams, and I’m so thankful for everyone that helped make this festival run so well, especially our choir’s manager and chaperones <3

Music is a way for me to express my most vulnerable self, and choir makes me feel comfortable to do just that.

This was my first year at All-State and I will never forget all the memories I made. All the people there were so nice and I was so excited to sing with people who had the same passion as me. I was so happy meeting old friends and making new ones. Dr. Molina was super energetic and even in times when we were all tired, she made the rehearsals fun and motivated us to keep going. This experience is one I will never forget and I will definitely audition for All-State choir next year.

I had the best time I ever had at All-States. This was my first year ever getting to do something like this. I was an alto 2 in the JH SSAA. It was so much fun getting to learn new tips and tricks for singing. All the songs I song were wonderful. My conductor was amazing!! It was a lot of fun getting to meet new people from all over California. I can’t wait to do this again!!!!

Wow, where do I even start?! Tia E was an AWESOME conductor (she let us have a nap time our second day) and I got to meet SO MANY PEOPLE!!! As a 6th grader that year, I was a newbie, but there were so many nice people, and you just feel like you belong. You can even stay up at your dorm (my dorm played slap jack and blackjack with gummy fish that our roommate who loved closets brought) and you just feel really connected! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!!! I hope I make it in this year!

I think I got so used to leading my section in choir that I lost my ability to sing as a group. This really helped me learn to lean back into the choir and blend better. This was such a good experience, and if you are debating on auditioning, I would always say go for it. When I got there and was waiting for the hotel check-in, I met my roommates, and we immediately started harmonizing to the Star Spangled Banner. It was great to meet people who also sing, and it was an even better bonding experience. Even though we woke up at 5:30 every day, it was so worth it.

This experience was amazing!! I learned so many new techniques, and our conductor, Tia E, made my time at All State unforgettable. I learned a lot about how to sing as a choir, and not to give up on my dreams. Overall, this is a very welcoming space, and the experience is unforgettable.

All-State was a very eye opening experience. It allowed me to get out of my comfort zone, learn new things, and truly see the potenial of how good a choir can be. As soon as I stepped in rehersals, I clearly saw the difference in discipline, motivation, and excitement compared to my school's choir. Additionally, our choir director Tia E, made All-State thrilling and unforgattble. She had so much energy, loved to teach us, and gave us so many new perspectives to choir. I think this influenced all the 100 people in the choir, as everyone was enthusiastic and ready to learn. Overall, All-State showed the passionate and lovely side of choir in my opinion, and allowed me to progress in my singing journey. I hope I make it next year and all the years to come.
