Failed then persevered: I failed different courses in college and I found that each course needs to be approached differently. I needed to adapt my needs and goals for each course. I am teaching IM3 in Alliance MIT. 
I hope to learn more strategies to implement in my teaching so that I better serve my students. 
Something positive so far is seeing all the students' faces that first day of school and being able to finally memorize all their names.  
One time I failed was during the first test for an EMT course. I had not figured out what learning and studying strategies worked best for me; but once I did, I was able to ace the tests.

Time I failed: Failed a math midterm in college and then not only went to office hours, but I scheduled individual meetings with my professor on top of that. I passed with an A- because I did so well on the next midterm and final!

Time I failed: I broke both my hips after getting to the final four in college and had to give up playing collegiately. I hope to gain powerful insights/strategies to how one should teach mathematics - especially given that many students lost an academic year online. 
One positive story from this year. A student who I was warned about academically took initiative to sit in front of the class and has come to all of my office hours to makes sure they are passing! 

I used to have horrible social anxiety. I was taking a train up to visit my future college but the train never stopped. So I ended up sitting in it until it paused 3 cities over. So I had to force myself to call my program director and then had to ask for a new ticket/train to go back to class. Its been really awesome to be a part of the community at UPVHS, all the faculty members have been so supportive and helpful to me as I adjust to this new position as a math teacher!

A time I failed: In college I decided to enroll in a finance course that ended up being was sooo difficult for me. I was not passing the course after the midterm.
