One funny part of the book was when Alexia came to Mr. Granite's class on a skateboard and then Andrea and Emily kept asking girly stuff to Alexia. But Alexia said, "No!" to everything they said. She even can do a half pipe on her skateboard. 
Out of many funny things, my favorite part of the book is when Ms. Child got near Brian the lion  to calm him down but she got chased after all! That was hilarious.

I really like all the characters in the book. My favorite character is Nate, the main character. He is so funny and actually too mischievous that he gets detention from school everyday. It is really fun to watch him getting each detention. His two best friends are Francis and Teddy. But Francis is the complete opposite of Nate, very geeky and loves to read books. Teddy is someone between Nate and Francis. So I think I am like Teddy. Nate has two rivals. They are Gina and Randy. Randy is the school bully and for that reason Nate calls him Randy Buttuncourt (his real name is Randy Bettencourt.) And Gina is kind of like Francis, just more geeky. There is one more interesting character, Artur Pashkov. He is from Bellarus so he doesn’t speak English very well and and that makes him very popular with the girls. And He’s perfect in everyway. All the characters in this book and other Big Nate series books remind me of ASB and my friends. I miss going to school.
