The definition of the word 'team' , means a group of people coming together to achieve a common goal that is shared with in the group. Which is also a group of people who focus on sharing their work load in order to reach the common goal made. Teams can even be like huge companies like Sony or Samsung as they have formed smaller teams in their normal team, so that everyone can work towards a smaller goal which can lead to the bigger goal that the main team is made for being finished. As you can have multiplies of teams other than just one as a team isn't defined by one group.

Example of what makes a team effective

Collaborations with your team mates as their output could be needed and so could the individual development of other people's ideas and experience. But also, the clarity of their roles within the team, so they know what they are exactly doing, as it helps with not being burden with the responsibilities of so many tasks for the goal set in mind.

This will also help with stress as they will know what they are meant to do on their part to get the job done.

Leadership plays a big role in making a team effective as without leadership no one would be organized, and makes sure people are not losing their focus on the task they got at hand.

Ambition would play a heavy role in a effective and successful team, as if everyone is ambitious about their work they would be willing to share their ideas with others and do what they need to get to their goal. But most importantly, communication is needed as with out communication everyone would be working independently and not share any ideas that could actually fix a solitons. With everyone working independently would mean that people could be doing the same task at once, or would not find ways to help each other or themselves. This is why its the most important skill to make a team effective.

It would help improve skills like as for example problem solving. But I think the benefit of a effective team is that there would be a reduce of stress on people and less worries about multiple tasks. And it could help build confidence as if people are doing jobs they are good at and getting them done efficiently it would make the person feel confident and that they are being heard and listened to, not to mention knowing their work is going to help reach their goal it would diffidently give a boost of confidence to a person. There's also the ability to reach deadlines in time as you'd have multiple helping hands to complete work on time. Or it could open up opportunities for people or your team to have a better chances with reaching goals or setting new ones. There is also a benefit of building stronger relationships which means you'd end up knowing who you can rely on to get things done or if you need an extra pair of hands with something.
