In the book, The Bad Seed  faces many challenges like losing his family and home, being spit, and etc. This will help him grow by facing challenges and pushing himself to grow.

In the book, The Bad Seed  decides to change to be good and not be bad anymore. He tries pretty hard to change being good again. He is trying to change like other people who might want to change.
