      <description>Joe Cohn, M.D., has close to three decades of experience as an orthopedic surgeon, and works with the Orthopaedic Center of Corpus Christi. After earning his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 1996, Joe Cohn, M.D., co-founded Texas Hill Country Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, where he worked for 15 years.

While in the role, he also served as a team physician for several local high school athletic programs. Following this, he was Hill Country Memorial Hospital’s chief of surgery, and he also served on the hospital&#39;s peer review committee.

Dr. Cohn has received a number of accolades during his career, such as being named Texas Monthly’s Top Doc every year from 2011 to 2017. He is a member of several professional organizations, such as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the the Orthopaedic Trauma Association.

In addition, Dr. Cohn is an animal lover who has sat on the board of the Hill Country chapter of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.</description>
