The cave in “Dark”, as the ones we studied in class, is mysterious and captivating, making people want to know what’s inside it and to discover its secrets. And it might have different meanings, such as a place where people hide from society and all the patterns that it imposes on people, or just a place where people go to close themselves from everyone else, and not to share their emotions.

We can also connect the effect that the comet has on the village, with the effect that previous explosions related to radiation have had to other places. The radiation is so strong that it becomes impossible to survive in such conditions, the explosions also wipe out the citizens, leaving great damage behind.
