Three small entrepreneurs Othón P. Blanco have shown interest in participating in the Third National Young Artists Competition of Mexican Folk Art 2015, which aims to preserve the traditional art. It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Economic Development (SEE) has a standard six thousand artisans in Quintana Roo, while Othón P. Blanco through the Municipal Institute of Social Economy (IMES) has 80 people.
