It worked waaay better as a triangular base than a square base that wasn't stable .
We had things to work around oh yeah. WE had the top-middle that kept sliding down and if we didn't keep an eye out for it, it would all fall down. 
The criteria was that the tower had to be 24 inches and it had to stay standing for at least 10 seconds . Our budget was 40$ and we in all spent 35$. Our tower unfortunately didn't get exactly to 24 inches it only got to 22 inches.
The hardest part was trying to work together and agree =-].there wasn't really a "easy" part.
