*For argument*
This article takes an interesting perspective in criticizing the way in which "pay for play" defenders are "all talk no action". It conveys a clear point that in order to prevent all of the scandals that occur in collegiate athletics, the players must be paid a commission.

If athletes aren't paid, then they are essentially employees without compensation. Additionally, he argues that the argument of equality has no basis because the money should only go to the athletes that participate in the revenue-producing events.

*Neutral argument
(presents both sides)*
This article presents an initial point against paying college athletes. It makes the common arguments that scholarships are enough payment, and it presents a logistical mess if revenue-generating sports were paid but lesser followed sports were not paid. Then the article introduces a counterargument that refutes all of the claims made in the previous viewpoint.

*Neutral argument*
This article is straight from the NCAA's website and simply states the rules that are in place regarding the amateurism. While the presented rules are designed to ensure the preservation of amateurism in college athletics, the article, itself, does not convey any bias or opinion towards on side of the issue or the other. This would act as a source of information regarding the current regulations that are in place.
