The aim is to know how this painter influenced other corrents, as the expressionism.

Each group will need pens, paper and the Art History Book.

In each group, I'd like 

A -explain that the Post-Impressionist artists shared some similitude with their Impressionist predecessors.

B -Shows that:

·         .until 1886 Van Gogh painted very much in the Dutch style with dark and earthy colors.

·         .After1886, Upon moving to Paris, he adopted the bolder brushstrokes and vibrant colors of the Impressionists, and accentuated them.

C - Conclude that Van Gogh influenced Cubism, Fauvism and Abstract Art.

 

Each group write it's answers.

Choose someone who takes notes and then who speak to the others. 

Make both takes part in these tasks and make sure both also agrees about the answers. 

I'll give you fifteen minutes before I ask you to report to the class.
