I had an IEP until 8th grade and it was always kind of hard to make friends for me

I found lots of interest and escape in media with complex stories and enjoyed making my own stories in my free time.

I spent a lot of time working on my IEP goals, and I was really dedicated to completing them all.

Even when I did finish my goals, I wasn't finished with improving my social skills just yet.

For a while I believed that I didn't fit in and thus preferred isolation.

Now, especially recently, I've been challenging that self-imposed belief by talking to more people and expressing myself more clearly.

During the pandemic, I was able to educate myself on topics that I didn't know much about.

In the process, I learned a lot about the world, how to properly communicate with other people, and morals.

If there's one thing that makes me lose track of time is coming up with concepts for personal projects or new ideas for stories I could make.

My best ideas and concepts tend to originate from when I'm alone and I'm able to think clearly.
