There are many farm lands and lots of livestock. The roads are well lit at night in the village. Some of the street lights are solar powered . They installed some solar power lights in their fields in case they have to work in the field at night. There is a pond or a flowing river in the out skits of the village which helps with the villages water needs. There are some well constructed wells and some water storage  facilities to harvest rain water.

A place with fields where we grow food crops, muddy roads, smaller houses with some better built and bigger houses, a small community which can provide with all the materials it requires, A place which isn't polluted, Lots of domestic animals and cattle. Maybe a river nearby too if my imagination could possibly be true. Place with lot of coconut and banana trees. Cows and other livestock.  People wearing only traditional clothes fetching water from wells or waiting in a line for the hand pump to fill their pots.  A lot of huts with women sitting outside  doing some household work.  Children playing with cycle wheels and stick or playing gilli - danda running and laughing. 
This is my view of a village.

1. A village should have a water tank which supplies to the whole village
2. A village should have a banana fields and paddy fields.
3. A village should have a tar roads which helps people to travel.
4. A village should have Government Schools for the lower class children can study.
5. A village should have a diary farm to provide the milk for the villagers.
6. In my village we have river Godavari when in rainy season the river will over flow and the water fills the fields around the river.
7.  Villages should have a small rivers so it can helps the farmers to water their fields.
8. A village should have a cell tower to get signals

When it comes to what do I know about a village it exemplifies a peaceful and quite life, you can eat fresh, green and clean produces and since the cost of living is low we tend to spend less money, we happen to do more physical exercises and embrace the beautiful night sky. 
I have been to my father's native which is a village near the district Viluppuram. This village looks almost as same as description I gave above.
