         <description><![CDATA[<div>The relationships between the American Indians and the Puritans were mostly bad because, when the Puritans first met the American Indians they viewed them as cruel and uncivilized people. Most Puritans even feared death by the American Indians but the Puritans brought over deceases that American Indians had no control against. Causing a large amount of death and suffering almost ninety percent of American Indians had died during the remainder of the 17th century.</div>]]></description>
