2. CLTs (Collaborative learning team): This is like "reunión de departamento" in Chile. 
3. SOLs (Standards of learning): Things we should be teaching. 
4. VOD (Virginia Department of Education): It sets our curriculum and legislation. 
5. Tiered instruction: It focuses on what type of students you will have to work with: Tier 1 (80% of students) - they need little help with differentiation. Tier 2 (15% of students) they might need some help in differentiation and modifications. Tier 3 (5% of students) Special Education & Students with other needs such as emotional, motor, linguistic, etc.
