The Province of Camarines Sur is located in the central section of Region V in Luzon. It covers a total area of  5,497.03 square kilometers and as of 2015, its population is 1,952,544 covering 33.68% of the Bicol region. The capital of Camarines Sur is Pili and has Naga and Iriga as its two cities.

ECONOMY
Camarines Sur relies mostly on agriculture as most of the towns produce rice, coconut, abaca, and livestock. After Typhoon Rolly hit the Philippines, President Duterte was absent and was not seen in a briefing in response to the typhoon and immediately criticized opposition. In 2013, Typhoon Yolanda made landfall and caused a lot of damage and deaths since there was no agency for standalone disaster. Philip Dy and Tori Stephens (2016) states that there was an absence in the Philippine Government and the national line agencies struggled to provide assistance to the local Government. The NWP models are very good in terms of large-scale process. With such advances, this models can be improved finger grids. However, with the fast pace of climate change, there are instances that it cannot predict thunderstorms or the intensity of an upcoming typhoon.
