         <title>Wildfires In California</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Over time, wildfires have grown in acreage burned which has lead to massive amounts of destruction due to the  size and strength of these uncontrollable fires. Fires gain strength and lethality by burning dry and dead plants which are a fuel, one of three necessary elements for the process of combustion to be possible. The fire triangle is made up of three different elements: a source of heat, oxygen and fuel. This year the fires scorched over 3.7 million acres this past year(vs. 260,000k acres in 2019), leaving a trail of blackened land and torched residential neighborhoods. Fire damage our air quality and increase the damage done to our ozone layer, leaving our cities gloomy, and dry. On top of that, the constant CO2 emissions that began at the dawn of the Industrial Revolution continue to have a strong impact as well as the President's  apathetic behavior around the subject matter. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Forest fires are natural and organic in the wilderness, however, the influx of people in fire danger areas combined with their irresponsible traits, the connection between humans and fires is only negative. These natural fires are natures' way of clearing the dead plants on the forest floors, which also allows vital nutrients to return to the soil, creating a new and healthy start for the plant and animal life. Some plants depend on fires or high heat concentration for reproduction like the Banksia, who just needs enough heat to crack the waxy seals of its cone and let the seeds out.<br><br>A Banksia Cone That Has Released Its Seeds After A Natural Brush Fire.</div>]]></description>
