Why we moved to NZ: My family and I moved to NZ (when I was 2 years old) because of all the great opportunities that NZ has. We have family that moved here before us and they told us about how amazing NZ was and since moving here (in 1997) we have never looked back! I do miss my family back in Burma and visit as much as I can.

3 things I love about this country:
1. The food- I love the food in Burma. The only way I can describe it is a mix between Indian and Thai food (we have lots of yummy curries and fresh salads). We also have yummy street food which is all deep-fried.
2. The scenery - Every country has beautiful scenery and I love the scenery in Burma. There is a city called Bagan and it is filled with old temples which are thousands of years old. We also have really nice beaches too!
3. My family - Leaving Burma was really hard and I miss my family the most. Every time I visit, my family are so welcoming and it feels like home. I'm always sad when I have to say goodbye and fly back to NZ.

Favourite food: Chicken coconut noodles - yummy chicken and coconut soup with egg noodles. The soup is creamy and the noodles are chewy. We usually top them with crispy onions and coriander, and have a splash of lime or lemon juice to zing it up!
