Who Am I?

A simple question yet still don't know who really I am. My full name is Jonalyn Huerto Semblante. I'm 25 years old. I am a person who's still learning and growing everyday. I have goals in life and someday, I want to be someone who makes a positive difference in my life when I reach that goals.

Where Did I Grew Up?

My mom gave birth to me in Naic Cavite. I don't really have memories in that place because when I was two years old, we moved here in Tuburan Cebu. And when i was in grade one, my mom and dad are separated. Even if they are separated, my childhood life is one of the best and i will cherish it. Those memories that you don't have to think any problems and just think of having fun and play with my friends everyday.

What is my Educational Background?

In my elementary I studied in Tuburan Central School. From grade one to grade 6, I was a section one student. When I graduated in elementary I was transferred to San Pablo Laguna where my mom's hometown and studied there grade seven. I transferred again and come back here in Tuburan because I don't like it there and continued my Highschool here in Tuburan National highschool. There is so much unforgettable memories being an highschool student. And that time I begin to know how to absent in class😂. In my Senior Highschool, I graduated in Cebu Technological University Tuburan Campus and taking up TVL Cookery.

Now I am still currently studying in Cebu Technological University taking up Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. And now that I'm in college life, nothing more I want is to finish my studies and after that I want to reach my goals one by one.

What are my Hobbies and Interests?

When i feel stressed about in school or having problems at home I just keep my self busy in cleaning our room or cooking the food I craved. In that ways i feel calm and can think easily on how to manage my stress and focus on the positive sides.

What are some of my proudest accomplishments?

For me, as a person who is not into speaking in front of many people. The proudest accomplished that I made is when I was in first year college, when we perform the Cebu Tech Talks. When our instructor announced it, I was already nervous, stressed, and to the point that I want to back out and thinking that this might be the reason of having an INC. In my mind I don't have the courage to perform and I can't do it because that is one of my weakness. And on that day I made it to perform it well and I feel proud of myself when I think about it.

What are some of the challenges I've faced in life?

For me is being a single mom. Being a mother is not easy especially when it's my first time. It taught how to be strong and gives my life a purpose. And I'm thankful to my mom also because she helped me and guide me.

How have these challenges shaped me as a person?

All these challenges I faced in life, it taught me how to be strong and keep going in life so that I can do better not just for myself but also to my mom and daughter. These challenges also taught me to be more mature and to focus on my goals because I want to give a better life for the both of them.

Everyone of us have a goals in life. And mine is of course I want to finish my studies so that I could give a better and more comfortable life to my mother and daughter. I will do my best to make that happen.

For me is that when my friends or my classmates chatted me and I can't reply to their chats, they don't know that I saw their chats already but I forgot also to reply and it will take for how many minutes or even an hour when I remember it that I forgot to reply them. Lol

Before I became a mother, my life has no direction and I don't have any goals in life but when my daughter came, it realizes me how important life is. My daughter is the reason why I want to have a better life now than before. And I promised to myself that I will do everything just to make her happy and give her more than what she deserves. That is why I want to become a successful and to give them all they want and needs not just for my daughter but also to my mother.
