We inferred that the Natives holding jewels are giving them the jewels to bribe them to go away. We also inferred that the people who are putting up the cross  are putting it up to show peace.

Jesus' Cross, 3-4 Ships, Unclothed males and females (ew), men and women that are actually clothed, riches, weapons, ropes, a runaway ship, people screaming to get off ship, flapping wings like chicken, water, rolling hills, clouds, and Christopher Columbus. (Lol)
We thought...
Kaylee thought the people were Christian because they held Jesus' cross.
Jessie thought the clothed men thought they were serperior (I can't spell) because there are nude people DANCING OR SOMETHING.
Kaylee and Jessie thought it was around the 1400's because Christopher Columbus was born in the early 1400's.
We wonder...
Kaylee wondered if the "naked" (quote on quote) people were a part of their crew.
"Why do these people have no clothes?" Jessie thought. "Why do they give us riches as if we are gods?"
