This is common in Indigenous ethnolects, and, when combined with the view that SE is superior, leads to the continuation of racial stereotypes and discrimination. When judged again SE, Aboriginal Australian English can appear unclear or grammatically incorrect, but from the other perspective, SE can seem strange and unclear. It is repurposed by the re-poster to mean the physical appendage, and demonstrates the identity of the re-poster as a transgender man, who was born as a woman but wishes to have a sex transition and thus a surgery to replace their female sexual characteristics with male ones. The first ParaMatildas team.”. The neologism “ParaMatildas” refers to the team and is created and understood through a combination of cultural inference and affixation. The prefix “Para-” is derived from the proper noun “Paralympics” – a competition that ran parallel to the Olympic Games for people with disabilities, itself a neologism created through a blend of the lexemes “parallel” and “olympics”. This spawned various lexemes – such as “paralympian” – from to the semantic field of sport, specifically sport for those with disabilities, and has in this case been used to denote a team of women with Cerebral Palsy, a disorder that affects a person’s ability to move and their balance. This prefix has been added to the plural proper noun “Matildas”, which requires the cultural inference of the Australian Women’s Football team, the Matildas, whose name originated in the well-known Australian song “Waltzing Matilda”, a cultural touchstone that clearly demonstrates the team’s Australian identity. One of her poems included the lines "Can't be lyric if you're fauna, right / Can't be sovereign if you're fauna, right?" The nouns "fauna" and "flora" are references to the pre-1967 Australian Law that classified FNAs as flora and fauna, dehumanising them and ignoring their habitation of the land prior to the European colonisation of Australia. This is highly reflective of the cultural values of the time of racism and prejudice against Europeans, and continues to bestow cultural trauma upon FNAs.
