Currently, our YouTube account is linked at the bottom along with the Instagram but I don't think we have access to that YouTube account anymore? Perhaps we should delete the link?

The goal of our website should be to provide any individual with the necessary information on what our programs is, what services we provide, and any important links like the application, ramlink, etc.

Something that is working well is the current overview of our staff and student staff (bios). Also, there are important links like studentlingo and tutor.com that give students another way to locate these resources.

Something new I would like to see on our website is "tabs" to better organize all of our information for either prospective students or current students. I would also like to see all of our branding to reflect how it is currently. Also, I would like to see videos implemented within tabs whether they are talking about the program or courses. Finally, I would also like to see Instagram synced in.

An additional detail we should consider is creating a tab for tours/tabling. I also agree with Armando that it would be great to have a link of the newsletter where people can automatically subscribe if they want to.

The goal should be two-fold. The website should have a lot of good overview of what our SSS program is & then it should also have a space for current students in the program to use the resources we offer such as peer coach support, ramlink, tutor.com, etc.

I like the simplicity. Websites can become too much really quickly if there's a lot going on. Our website isn't the prettiest but it's definitely easy to navigate

I'd like our branding to match. Also most websites have nice "blocking" of their information. Right now ours is just a long scroll of words.

Something that we did that helped the newsletter was add structure. It's easy to lose structure if you have too much going on. I would like the new website to remain balanced much like how our new newsletters are. Also if we lose structure it probably won't be very intuitive to navigate.

Dropdowns are fine but I'd honestly rather open a new tab than play peek-a-boo with a bunch of long dropdowns. Additionally, the more we can embed the better. It's best if someone can just play a video or see socials within the page as is. A lot of CSU websites have really nice Instagrams embedded where you can see the page & everything.

A few things our website needs are a clearer view of the links for students! I would also make important information such as location and contacts on the main page of the AAC because most people will only view the first page of the website. I would also change the paragraphs on the website to bulletin points. But I think the rest of the website is well done because everything is clear and the different sections allow for a person to not be overwhelmed. I also enjoy the different shapes and colors included because they make the website more interesting!

the staff bio page is incredible! I think more work needs to be done on the SSS homepage. Changing the cover photo from words to pictures of people (like our students or staff) would be more welcoming. Also change the colors to match the SSS colors and logos that we put on our flyers. When visitors open our page they are bombarded with paragraphs, we should add easy to understand graphs or stats about student success rates or something like that

In the past our website was used for both prospective and current students. We crammed all information for both audiences into one website. Now that we have Canvas as a platform for current students to access their requirements, the main focus should be prospective/outside audiences.

I also really like the staff page/bios! I think we should continue sticking to theme colors for each specific program in different pages. For example, The SSS theme colors on the homepage stays the same for SSS staff on the bio pages.

I would like the branding to match our current brand colors/logos. It should definitely have our social media synced! Another thing too is adding rectangles/blocks to make information flow well and more tempting to read.

I think the prospective audience should be primarily focused on incoming students with some links for current students. I feel that SSS does a good job looping current students with resources/requirements (the Canvas and social media) therefore not many current students have a use for the website. If I am honest I think the only time I visited the website as a student was when I was applying for SSS. That being said, I think the goal should be making effectively advertise what our program is, services, application, etc.

I think the staff bios are great! On top of that compared to other websites I have visited finding our program application is very easy. I think our website is easy to navigate it just needs to be beautified quite a bit.

I would like to see a sort of social media grid which shows our recent posts. I think we do most of our event advertising there so that is a good thing to include. I also think the organization of images on the website is a bit everywhere. Videos could be placed next to each other and formatting in general could be improved.

The long paragraphs should be in a different tab not on the home page. It also feels like the drop downs don't have a clear organization. We have drop downs with the link to our organizations but also a quick links section in the home page which is redundant.

As the website is being created I think it's important to consider the following:

Reviewing the mobile version to make sure it's easy to review on a tiny screen
how to provide the option for the pages to translate into multiple languages (including alt text)

It'd be cool for some of the previous projects completed in Arrive highlighted in the prospective students section so people have an idea what to expect.

Maybe even including some engagement/success/outcome data to get prospective students excited to participate.

I also think that anything linked should open in a new tab, so that the SSS webpage can be easily returned back to (currently when you click the application/referral link they open in that current tab).

I believe that the goal of the website should be able to inform prospective students and current students about what SSS is offering currently, what is happening within the semester and what to do if you are seeking to get in contact with the SSS.

I really like the overview, even though it is a long paragraph I feel like it goes into depth of what exactly SSS is about, If we are able to keep the same message but maybe format it in a different way that would be great!

Kinda going off of other responses I would say that the formatting of the information within the website could be a little easier to read, I know that some people might get intimidated when they see large bodies of text and tend to avoid reading them. The information within these paragraphs are important but if there was some other ways that we could share this info on the website I think that it would be helpful.
