My name Finlay is from Ireland, it means "white warrior" which my dad says is about right because I leave a path of destruction wherever I go.

My middle name is an honorific to my dad's best friend since he was 2 years old. My uncle Daniel lives in Japan with his wife Aunty Kaoru and my two cousins Rui and Ria. He teaches people to speak English which I think is pretty cool.

Our family name Turnbull, is from Scotland. it is said that in the 1300's, a man called William of Rule saved the king of Scotland's life from a charging bull, thus he was renamed William Turnebull in recognition of this great deed. My dad says I am super brave just like the first Turnbull.

I live with my sister, my dad and my grandparents. My mum lives in Brisbane, Australia which is pretty cool because I get to fly to Australia most school holidays and most of the time, Piper and I get to fly with no grown ups... this is so cool because we get to go into the cockpit and talk to the pilots and sometimes, we get to help the air stewards give lollies to all the other passengers. My mum's family lines are Irish/Swedish/Australian. From Dad's side, we are Maori/Chinese/Scottish .... dad says we are 100% kiwi

I love to swim, ride my bike, ride my scooter and play with my friends.

I play rugby for Suburbs & t-ball for the Ramblers.

When I am good, I am allowed to play on dad's PS3. I have heaps of skylanders and I also like Lego Avengers and Lego Batman. If I want to play Lego Harry Potter, I have to play on the xbox in the lounge on the big tv... Nana usually says play outside, NO TV if it's not raining.
