I went through numerous songs such as Years and Years' Eyes Wide Shut, and Dua Lipa's Blow your mind. There is no particular reason as to why i didn't choose any of these songs. None of them felt right for the theme and genre i was going for. This being quite indie/vintage and urban. I wanted a 'chill' song, where for the video, i would do many location shots and have my model lip sync and act to the song.

I will make sure to shoot her from a variety of levels and angles, and also from different view points. The location of each shoot will have a short cut scene, to show the audience where Niamh was, helping them feel connected to her.

However,  in both the song and music video, there is a unique vibe that sets the song apart from a typical 'pop' song. The beat of the song gives off a 90s feel. 
The song is about a girl who misses her lover and has tried to move on but she can't, as she still thinks about him.

She has a very urban and vintage style, which i think fits perfectly with my theme, and what i want the overall effect to look like. 
I don't believe i will make my video a narrative one as i want to try something different and less typical than a story about a girl that leaves her boyfriend and gets with someone new, only to not being able to stop thinking about her ex.
After a few ideas, I have decided on one. The main character, being Niamh, and myself, will travel around various parts of london, and shoot some scenes of her lip syncing to the song. These locations will be urban and quite simple, i may include some scenes with her standing in front of abstract and cool looking things such as graffiti walls etc. This will be great in terms of showing off my artists' star image and vibe.
