Fortunately, you have helped us with useful strategies to break it down into little chunks. One of the tips I like is the colored codes. It's a wonderful idea that helps to build up abstract ideas and sort the concepts into different categories. I also enjoy how you use a lot of visual aids like images and charts, and even music to pop up our energy in the afternoon. During the lesson, we had a lot of chance to interact with different groups of people, and I have made a lot of new friends today! Thank you for the carefully designed workshop. It was enjoyable! Looking forward to learn more tomorrow!

However, this is the first time that I come up with all the six global contexts from one topic. The process itself is like designing a concept-based curriculum. Firstly, we come up with all possibilities of the concept/topic. And then we choose the one that we would like to explore, instead of finding the most fit one and making the concept to be narrow.

1. In the past in Taiwan it was teacher-centered learning where the teacher decided what to learn, the teacher decided which knowledge the students would absorb, and decided which concepts were correct or not. But in fact, students are the subjects of knowledge inquiry. When students are more subjective, the more active they are in learning, and when learning is more active, students learn better. When students start to think about problems, think about problems, solve problems, and collect data, that is the evidence of learning. In Taiwan's educational context, inquiry-based learning activities are influenced by regular examinations, and what students learn needs to match the content of regular examinations. The exams are designed with more inquiry and practical work in the classroom and on the exams, and the exams allow students to present an inquiry process.
2. Debatable questions allow students to learn more deeply and help students to express and think more circumspectly, and can train a variety of Learner proflie: Caring (for other's voice), Thinker, Communicator, Inquirer, Knowledgeable, Balanced, Open-minded, Reflective, Balanced (finding balance in different thoughts and perspectives)

G: What is your goal?
There are short-term and long-term goals in my plan. For the short-term ones, I will devote myself to conducting what I've learned from IB system in Mingdao High School during my internship there. As I enjoy and appreciate the spirit of this education system, I hope to deeply understand the principles and practices and try to help transforming the traditional education system in Taiwan as my long-term goal.

R: What is your current situation - reality is sometimes different from what we want to change?
I'm completing my required courses now and looking forward to doing the internship in a traditional high school first. However, I sometimes worry that I can't make a living and give better lives to my family by being a teacher. I'll keep learning and make everything on track as soon as possible.

O: What are your options? What or who can help you?
I originally wanted to study in Education Policies abroad after my whole-year internship, but I changed my mind after talking to my mom. It's necessary for me and my family to work first, and I consider this can be a kind of practical learning too! There are few options for me. Being an IB teachers is the only destination for now!

W: what will you do now?
I have to keep remind myself to be a lifelong learner so that I can well prepare for teaching in a constructive learning environment.

Finally, I would like to say Thanks a lot for your guiding in these three days, Monique! You are an amazing teacher ever! I was overwhelmed by your abundant preparation for the workshop, and couldn't believe that we can complete such a huge work~ Thank you so much! I particularly love your active encouragement gentled words like "Rock and Roll, Hey mate, MYP superstars", and so on. They make me so relaxed and energetic as well. Hope that one day I can be an IB educator who pretty enjoy her teaching career just like you~ XOXO

G: What is your goal?
In August, I will be working at IB school. I hope to design a curriculum that conforms to the IB concept and have a good time working with English homeroom teacher. R: What is your current situation - because this is the first time to work at IB school. I'm worried that I don't have enough teaching experience to design all the course content. O: What are your options? What or who can help you?
I hope that I can apply what I have learned this year about the IB teaching concept into the curriculum. I hope that in the school where I work in the IB school, I can consult IB classmates, or professional colleagues in the school, or even seek advice from teachers help. W: What are you going to do now?
I hope to improve my English skills and adapt to the full English teaching environment. I also have to keep reminding myself to be ready to teach so that I can become a professional IB teacher in an IB school.
