My goal for the Professional Growth Plan that I made for this semester is to work on my grammar and comma rules. This is an area that I know I need to relearn and go over as I begin to teach them. I hope to think about this plan when learning different teaching methods this semester.

The main strategy I use to engage my High School students is focusing my materials I use on things I know my students enjoy or know about. For instance, in the fall for the film class I was placed in the lessons I made pulled elements from Anime, Horror, and sports. These were genres of film the students really enjoyed.

My main want from this course is to learn as much as I can when it comes to engaging students. I also hope to learn strategies and skills I can use in my weekly placements and try on my own before I get into my own classroom or add into my tools box.
