Who is David Hockney?

David Hockney was born and raised in Bradford, England on July 9, 1937. He went to Bradford College of Art and then moved to Los Angeles in the 1960s. He was first known for his paintings and photography of Los Angeles pools. He started his photo collages in the 1970s. He personally called them joiners. He was voted the most influential British artist of the 20th century in 2011. He started painting about his literary attraction. He used many poems and writings as his inspiration. Hockney obtains an expressionistic style, then was considered a realist in the 1970s. Photography caught his eye when he accidentally stumbled upon "joiners" and stopped painting for a while to focus on his photography. Hockney then focussed on both, mostly about the swimming pools of Los Angeles.

https://www.biography.com/people/david-hockney-9340738

What did I do to obtain my final photographs?

With the camera set at Aperture priority, I went out and chose a scenery that looks best in my eyes. Standing in front of my scenery, I took separate photos of each part of what's in front of me. I started in the top left corner. Zoom in if needed or wanted. Then move over the right, going down, moving to the left, going down, moving to the right. The amount of photos (parts of the whole scenery) is up to the photographer. I decided to take 9 photos- 3 on the top, 3 in the middle, and 3 on the bottom. Then in photoshop, open a blank file and set the dimensions to 11" wide and 14" high. Then open up all photos and arrange them onto the blank background. Make it look a little like the actual scenery. The collage does not have to be perfect, but creative. Scale the photos (edit --> transform --> scale). When finished go to layer --> merge visible and edit the photo is needed or wanted. If there are any white parts showing around the collage, crop it to get rid of seeing the while background. Then save file and finished
