I was one of the last ones to take this class out of my few friends who are also going for their teaching degree and they never really had much to say about it except that we had to do observation hours but that wasn't anything new to me. So, I went in this class not knowing what to expect I just knew I needed to take it, but it was very fun while still learning a ton too! Can I say all of them? Between this class and integrated learning through the arts this semester SO much has been brought to my attention and made into a learning experience for me. I was just writing a discussion post a couple weeks ago for another class saying lesson plans used to be just that... lesson plans to me, even when I was in high school and such and even up until about 2 months ago. Keep in mind I work in a preschool classroom too. But, with this class and integ. learning through the arts I feel more in tuned when I am at work now. I have started a word document of websites, classroom ideas, and lesson plan ideas that I can change just a little to make it suitable for 2nd or 3rd graders.
