Positive Workplace Culture surrounding EBP.

It is going to be interesting to see all the variations in answers, as all clinical areas/workplaces are very different with their barriers/enablers for the utilisation of EBP. I can proudly say we have a great culture where I work, which supports learning, as our educators work overtime to provide current EPB in-services, advertising workshops, promoting the expectation to be undertaking learning when we have 'downtime' (haha), encouraging the use of our Professional Development hours (PD) and daily huddles to discuss and relay any new findings with work-flow. Barriers almost always revolve around time-constraints. I think the introduction of the 'education audit' to hold accountability is also a great enabler to ensure EBP is being learnt and reviewed.
- Verity
