For the first practice I had done, me and a few other students had to make a interview of our choice. That being, we made an interview of a Ukrainian immigrant and brought her in to interview her and to show the viewers her story about escaping the war.

Joker Stair Scene

Another practice I had done was to recreate a famous and iconic movie scene from Joker 2019, it was his stair scene. This task was to essentially practice camera work and filming of dance choreography.

Rule of Thirds and Leading Lines

This practice, I was assigned and individuals only, to go around the college and take pictures that use the media term of rule of thirds and leading all in one picture. This was to get use to use the media term, so out shots and footage would look more appealing to the audience. So the grey gird being the rule of thirds grid t show that I've used it, and the red lines showing the leading lines onto something.

The aim for this practice was to take pictures that were in frame, with different angles and positions to highlight the subject, to be the main attention in the picture (like what many professional filmmakers do.)

Reflective Journal

With the first task of Unit 10, I was assigned to make a reflective journal making a PowerPoint slides describing and noting down what I had done for every week of Unit 10. Also, leading up to the beginning and finale of my documentary.

Documentary Film Research & Analyse

Within this task, I did in-depth research of two documentaries with the filmmakers behind them, describing each and every detail used for cinematic documentary filmmaking, and asked myself challenging questions about the theory behind the two documentaries. And yet, gave back distinction level answers on what the filmmakers intention on behind it.

Also, I researched ten different filmmakers, on who they were, they're background, what documentaries they made, what style and approach do they do etc.

Documentary Film Plan

This was a documentary film plan, where I had to make a decision on what my documentary would going to be about. So, I made three ideas and decided to pick one.

That being, I picked an idea that I had made, as it was to make a documentary on a man who had been falsely accused, and how it has affected him and to educate the audience about the topic of false accusation. As I also named this documentary "Truth Under Fire".

Audio Visual Script

For the third task of Unit 10, I made a script for my documentary Truth Under Fire. However, it wasn't just any script, it was an audio visual script specifically made and formatted for documentaries, as I presented within the script, the main premise of the script, what's going to happen in my story (within chronological order), what's going to happen in terms of audio for that scene, what's going to happen in terms of visuals for that scene, and what equipment will I need for that scene.

Overall, this script was intended the critical planning for my documentary Truth Under Fire.

Here is the fourth task of this unit, where I had to create and perform (in front of my classmates and tutor) a slideshow presentation explaining to the audience about my documentary project. From there, I showed the audience the detailed planning that is going in to this documentary, and what is for the future for this documentary and where does it go. Moreover, I explained the purpose of this documentary to give an insight of this documentary to the audience.

Overall, with my confident performing skills and professional attire and tone I persuaded the audience to watch this documentary yet also educating them on what is going to happen within this documentary.
