I noticed that the scene didn't have any music. This kind of made the tone feel somber. Later, when they were leaving, their cart wheels creaked. This kind of made the scene feel off-putting and creepy. Also the camera seemed to avoid showing any of the witches full face, which also added to the uncomfortable tone.

The witches were wearing dirty rags or old clothes, one of the witches looked significantly older than the two others. It looked like the significantly older one was missing eyes but it was hard to see. The witches start chanting in an unknown language and then they discuss meeting again and they mention Macbeth. The setting is very gloomy- as it is set on a beach when it's cloudy and dark outside. The colors on screen were all cool and no warm tones- the red blood hitting the grey sand added a frightening scene. The whole scene felt very urgent. There is one scene where it's just the bird, and usually when you hear birds it means there is a bad omen near. There was faint eerie music in the background. The three witches start walking away from the camera, there was never really a far away shot- most of it was very close.

Uncomfortable wide .5 shots of the garbage men gave off the same vibe as the wicked, grimy witch, just in a different context, although they lack any intrigue or thrill because garbage men aren't that scary, and are a bad shoe-in for witches. Made all garbage men look gross. Also, we did NOT need that single shot of the guy burping into the microphone, I need space. I feel very unsafe, what- why would they make this that way. The visuals of the graves being defaced shows these girls (the witches) are up to no good and did not care. This first scene everyone was hearing something to cover their heads and they had a baby there that they put stuff on her eyes and just all looked at her the camera angles were very close up and the 3 ladies come out again and start talking about when they next time there gonna meet was. In the other scene it looked like the guys were about to go to war because they had their swords ready and they also drew black lines on their faces. The boys there also look sad and scared about what gonna happen.

The first scene depicted a dead baby getting lit in fire, it was a funeral for the baby. A somber music played and the rustling of leaves could be heard in the background while the three witches overlooking the funeral recited their speech. The next scene depicts two sides preparing for war, it had some close angles to the characters faces, most of them looked tired and beat up from battle, and looked as they had been traumatized from it. The scene also had very muted colors.

The black and white was an inspired choice for the color palette for this opening. Her change in vocal tone was eerie and implied she represented three characters in one & it was interesting to follow her dialogue.

The immediate thing that I noticed was the old lady and how uncomfortable she made me feel. She was way too close to the camera and was doing very odd things. The toe that she was holding in her foot was also really gross. Everything about that video made me uncomfortable. And I noticed that there was no color at all, only black clothes and white sand. The old lady was making really weird noises too.

The way the witch bends her body and presents the thumb was very gross and unsettling. Especially when she randomly started screaming. That scene was probably the most abstract and strange than the rest, definitely does a great job at setting an odd mood by the witch talking to herself and the movement she does.
