I work and am very comfortable dealing with kids, however, I have never made a lesson plan. I loved that I was able to experiment and test out creating a lesson plan on google drive. I learned a lot searching for age appropriate lessons writing out the benifits from the lesson and the way the lesson was supposed to be acted. I know I have a lot of learning to go as far as lesson plans till I am a teacher but this class was a great way to test things out.

I remember my elementary teachers never used much technology and never thought of the resources there is now days. I loved seeing all the different resources to test, learn and practice knowledge in and out of the classroom. I also never acknowledged the resources I did know of as resources. Things I've used before in my years of high school. Resources such as quizlet, kahoot, and google applications. I have also relearned many things I already knew like google docs, slides, drive and more. These applications were great to relearn looking at them in the eyes of a teacher. Twitter was a big one for me because I was never a fan of twitter and kind off brush past it when I've heard that it is good for teachers. But during the module for twitter looking through the tags to find conversations teachers were having was great. It was a great place for new and old teachers to ask questions, share information, and help one another. Twitter for teachers these days seems like the epitome of communication online. Twitter is a great way to have appropriate communication online and thats why I really ended up learning to love it. Im really glad to have been turned over to pro twitter because I think it will really help in my educator journey.

I am glad to have learned about many resources for educators as well as techniques. This course really opened my mind to online education and the use of technology in the classroom. I learned about the many positive to using technology and how to combat inappropriate use.
