AL QURAN AS GUIDANCE
-Al Quran becomes a life guide to commit all good things in this world.
-all things in the Al Quran are a guide to a Muslim's life to change themselves in a better direction.
3. STRENGTHEN OUR IMAN
-we need to believe that Allah always helps his servant in hardship
Conclusion
-We as a Muslim are encouraged to keep learning new skills and gaining new knowledge in order to improve ourselves.

PILLARS OF IHSAN

as we know, ihsan can be defined as perfect. Which is encourage people to be kind and do something with full heartedly. So our facilitator asked us to make some notes to know our conceteration in that class. By doing that, we want to know are we applying the concept in our daily life.
The third domain: It is more restricted than the second one — the domain of Al-Ihsan. It just as the Prophet S.A.W. made it clear. No one will enter into it except the people of complete Imaan.
Al-Ihsan means to perfect something and complete it. It is derived from Al-Husun which means Al-Jamaal (beauty). It is divided into categories:
First, perfection of what lies between the servant and his Lord. Secondly, perfection of what is between the servant and the rest of the people; and thirdly, doing well and perfecting what you do. When a person makes something or does an action, then it is obligatory upon him that he perfects it and does it completely.
The Messenger (peace be upon him) said that when Jibreel (peace be upon him) told him that “Ihsan is that you worship Allah as if you were seeing Him, and even though you do not see Him, He certainly sees you.”
So Ihsan between the servant and his Lord is his perfecting the action, which Allah has made a duty upon him, that he does it correctly, purely and sincerely for the sake of Allah the Almighty. So, an action which is done sincerely for Allah Almighty, and by following the Messenger (peace be upon him).
The Prophet S.A.W. made it clear that Ihsan is of two levels, one of them being higher than the other: The first level is that you worship Allah as if you were seeing Him such that your certainty and Imaan in Allah reaches such a level that it is as if you are actually seeing Allah with your eyes. You have no hesitancy or doubt, rather it is as if Allah is in front of you, He the Perfect and Most High, and you are seeing Him openly.
You worship Him as if you are seeing Him out of a complete faith and sincerity. Allah Almighty will not be seen in this world, rather He will only be seen in the Hereafter. However, you see Him with your heart as if you are seeing Him with your eyes, and for which there are great rewards for them.
Rewards include an opportunity to see Him with their eyes in the abode of bliss. He, the Most High, said: “For the people of Ihsan there will be the best reward of Paradise and something extra.” (Qur’an, 10:26)
This “something extra” is looking upon the face of Allah. Since they perfected their deeds in this world, Allah will give them the best rewards, which is Paradise. And He will increase the rewards, which is having an opportunity to see Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.
Therefore, one should worship Allah as if he/she is witnessing Him, upon love and longing to meet Him. You feel delighted in being obedient to Him and you feel calm. This is the path for the people of Ihsan.
The second level: If you do not reach this tremendous level, then you worship Him upon the path of Al-Muraqabah(watchfulness) such that you know that Allah sees you, knows your condition, and knows what lies within yourself.
Therefore, it is not befitting that you should disobey Him and contradict His command when He sees and observes you. This is a good state, however, it is less than the first one.
So, since you believe that He sees you, you therefore perfect your worship, because you know that Allah is seeing you. Imagine, if you are in front of a person of high status, and you obey him just because you know that he is seeing you, would it be possible that you be negligent in your duties that too in front of him?
In sum, Ihsan has two levels. One of worshipping Allah with heart: It is that you worshipping Him as if you are seeing Him from the strength of your faith in Him; and second, as if you are worshipping Him knowing that He sees you and observes you, therefore, you do not disobey Him and disobey His command.
This is the level of Al-Ihsan and it is highest of the levels of the religion. Whoever reaches this level, he has reached the highest of the levels of the religion. Before it is the level of Iman, and before that is the level of Al-Islam.

PILLARS OF IMAN (CONTINUE)

4- Belief in Allah’s messengers and that Muhammad is the last of them
-The fourth pillar is to believe in all prophets and messengers sent by Allah and that the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the last of them.

Most of the messengers of Allah were sent to a specific nation except Prophet Muhammad, who was sent to guide all of mankind. It is a duty of Muslims to send salaams (Peace and Blessings of Allah) when mentioning the names of any of the Prophets.
5- Belief in the Day of Judgment
Muslims attest to the truth of everything Allah or his messenger, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said about death.

Allah has not created his creation in vain. He created men and jinn to worship him and promised paradise as a reward to those who obey him and his messengers, and promised hellfire to those who disobey him or his messengers.

Allah has set a certain period for the whole universe, whose end will be the final hour. During the final hour, humans will be questioned about their deeds in this world. Those deeds will be weighed for them. One whose good deeds overweigh his evil deeds will prosper, while whose bad deeds outweigh his good ones will be condemned to hellfire – unless he died in the state of Islam. Then, Allah would either forgive him or punish him, and eventually, he would enter paradise.
6- Belief in the Qadhaa’ & Qadr (Doom & Divine Decree)
-(Qadhaa’) is the general decree of Allah that every human shall die, whereas a divine decree (Qadr) is a particular decree of Allah or the execution of Qadhaa’, that a certain person is to die at a particular time and place. Hence, believing in this pillar entails believing that Allah has created everything and has foreordained its proper measure.

PILLARS OF ISLAM
-HADIS JIBRIL

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Islam is that you should testify that there is no deity except Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger, that you should perform salah, pay the Zakah, fast during Ramadan, and perform Hajj to the House, if you are able to do so."

The man said, "You have spoken truly." We were astonished at his questioning him (the Messenger) and telling him that he was right, but he went on to say, "Inform me about iman."

He (the Messenger of Allah) answered, "It is that you believe in Allah and His angels and His Books and His Messengers and in the Last Day, and in qadar (fate), both in its good and in its evil aspects." He said, "You have spoken truly."

Then he (the man) said, "Inform me about Ihsan." He (the Messenger of Allah) answered, "It is that you should serve Allah as though you could see Him, for though you cannot see Him yet (know that) He sees you."

He said, "Inform me about the Hour." He (the Messenger of Allah) said, "About that, the one questioned knows no more than the questioner." So he said, "Well, inform me about the signs thereof." He said, "They are that the slave-girl will give birth to her mistress, that you will see the barefooted, naked, destitute, the herdsmen of the sheep (competing with each other) in raising lofty buildings." Thereupon the man went of. I waited a while, and then he (the Messenger of Allah) said, "O Umar, do you know who that questioner was?" I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know better." He said, "That was Jibril (the Angel Gabriel). He came to teach you your religion."
-Scholars consider Islam, Iman and Ihsan the three stages in the path towards Allah (swt). The first path is you force yourself and bring yourself to do those actions which you know that Allah wants you to do.
-The second level is iman where you are not only doing those actions, but you are strengthening your relationship with Allah (swt) and you’re beginning to taste the sweetness of your relationship with Allah.
-The third level is the level of Ihsan, which is to worship Allah as if you see Him, and even if you cannot see Him, to know that He sees you. So, you are moving in this path, this journey, towards the Divine. And in doing so, it’s getting more and more
-The Signs
The next question was, “So, tell me about it’s signs, tell me about the things that will occur”. These signs are considered as warnings. The Prophet (sas) gave two signs to this particular hadith of the end of time. One of them is, “the slave woman will give birth to her master,” and the tense is feminine so it is referring to her female master.

THE STRUCTURE OF IHSAN
-The prophet S.A.W explained that the first category consists of external actions, both speech and conduct.
The first external actions is to testify that there is no deity save Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. The remaining acts, namely regular prayer, regular alms, fasting in Ramadan, and the Pilgrimage, all envolve conduct that can be described as either envolving the body, eg. Salah, Sawm, or involving property, e.g., paying zakah, or a composite of the two, e.g., Hajj

PILLARS OF IMAN
-iman is a firm belief or faith arising from knowledge and conviction.
-in Hadith Jibril, Prophet Muhammad S.A.W explains that Iman is inner beliefs in the heart, saying that it is belief in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Mesenggers, resurrection after death, and beliefim Divine Power, its good and its bad.
-it is important to note that the prophet S.A.W. repeats the word Iman in the definition itself, which indicates that here, the meaning of Iman is not at issue but rather the objects of Iman(six pillars).

The Six Pillars of Faith (Iman) in Islam
1- Belief in the existence and unicity of Allah

-It’s the first and most important pillar. To believe in Allah is to believe that there is only one God worthy of worship, with no partner, or son. This concept is known as Tawheed. Also, it is to completely believe in the way he is described in the Quran, Sunnah and in his 99 names.
2- Belief in the existence of Angels
-The second pillar is to believe in Allah’s angels. They are not his children as some may think. They were created from light and were created before humans for the purpose of worshipping Allah.

Angels do not sleep, eat or suffer from illnesses. It is crucial to believe in the angels, as they keep a record of our deeds. Some of the other duties of angles include: blowing the trumpet on judgment day, taking people’s souls (i.e. angel of death) and to be the keepers of heaven and hell.
3- Belief in the books of Allah
-The third pillar is to believe in the books of Allah which delivered to the nations by the messengers. Allah revealed books to his messengers as a form of guidance and proof for mankind. Among these books, is the Quran, which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad.

Allah has guaranteed the protection of the Quran from any distortion or corruption.

the last week of the surah
story of Ainul Mardhiah
'Ainul Mardhiah is the most beautiful angel among the other angels (meaning eyes that are satisfied). One morning (in the month of fasting) when the prophet gave targhib (news of enthusiasm among the companions to fight for the religion of God) he said that whoever goes out in the way of God will suddenly be martyred, then he will be awarded an angel who is the most beautiful among the angels of heaven.

Hearing the news, a friend who was young wanted to know how beautiful the angel was, but because this friend was shy to ask the prophet S.W.T, because he was shy to the other friends. But he still gave his name as one of those who will go out in the way of God.

Before Zohor sunnah the prophet will take a short nap (called khailulah, so the young friend also joined the pilgrims who were about to leave earlier and slept together for a while. Suddenly in the friend's sleep he dreamed of being in a very beautiful place, he met a person with clean and beautiful clothes and a radiant face, then asked this friend, where is he, then a voice answered, this is heaven, suddenly he expressed his desire to meet 'Ainul Mardhiah (the angel that the Prophet S.W.T told earlier) , then he pointed in a direction and this friend walked, in a tree he found a woman who he had never seen such beauty, never seen in this world, then he greeted and this friend asked, are you Ainul Mardhiah, the woman replied ehh no (more or less like that in our language), I am the guardian, Ainul Mardhiah is in the throne there.

Then he walked and entered a very beautiful mahligai and found there was another woman who was twice as beautiful as the first one he had seen earlier, was wiping the jewels in the mahligai, then was greeted and asked again if this was Ainul Mardiah then the woman replied, no, I'm just the guardian in this mahligai, Ainul Mardiah is on the mahligai, then he went up the steps of the jeweled mahligai, her beauty is really amazing, then this friend reached a mahligai and found a woman who was double - twice as beautiful as the first and twice as beautiful than the second that he met earlier, and had never seen in the world, then the woman said, I am Ainul Mardhiah, I was created for you and you were created for me, when the man approached her the woman answered, you will not be a martyr yet, the young man was startled and woke up from his sleep and he told everything to there were other companions, but he ordered not to tell this story to the Prophet S.W.T, but if he was martyred then it was told to the Prophet S.W.T.

That evening the young man together with the congregation in which there was the Prophet S.W.T went out to fight/jihad and the young man was destined to be martyred. That evening when all the congregation had returned to the mosque, when it was time to break the fast, they were waiting for food to break the fast (waiting for food is a sunnah of the Prophet). So the martyred friend woke up and mourned the prophet S.W.T and told about the dream of the martyred youth.

A friend of the youth who was martyred earlier, in telling the Prophet S.W.T, the Prophet S.W.T replied: "True, true, true throughout the story". Finally the Prophet S.W.T said that your friend's story was true and now he is waiting to break his fast in heaven.
