Last semester, I took a SPED 3800 class. In this class, we would be assigned a case study that we would work on by ourselves or with a partner. I usually worked with a classmate on mine, which allowed me to experience active learning. The case studies allowed me to build better communication and problem solving skills. Another active learning experience I have had would be in my Literacy class last semester. We had the opportunity to read a children's book and teach a literacy skill related to that book. In a college history course, we had this social justice project to do. We had to pick a topic in the world that we felt strongly about, and write a two page relfection on it and create a photo collage. We had to present our project in front of the class. I think this is a good example of a constructive learning experience, because this allowed other students to understand the topic better. It also was an opportunity for students to put in their input on how they felt about the topic. I have also experienced constructive learning in my Math Methods course that I took. We would do several hands-on activities in that class using manipulatives. The manipulatives allowed us to be able to build knowledge based on what we were experiencing while using them.

Two experiences that I've had with cooperative learning:
The "Critical Friend Group Discussion" Boards would be a good example of this type of learning. For these discussions, we get in groups of two or three in class, and we are given something to read. Once we finish reading, we collaborate and converse with one other on our thoughts about the reading. Another experience that I have had was during a class debate. Two experiences that I've had with intentional learning:
An example of Intentional learning that I've experienced would be completing science experiments in high school. Also, I think that reading stories and then working in groups to analyze the events in the story would be another example of this type of learning.

Two experiences I've had with Authentic learning:
In high school, I was in several classes where we had to complete a journal entry before class started each day. These journals were a good way to showcase the knowledge we took in or a way to assess our authentic learning. another example of authentic learning that I've experienced was in a class that I took in high school. The teacher assigned us a research paper where we had to research any problem that was happening in the world or that had already taken place.
