Fiction guy in ancient India life

Well if this guy live in India he would be bored just look what we do in India, last time when we have break we actually did nothing bu travel and when we look nothing special would be there so the character might be like,"why am i even here there nothing to do", think about it he gonna say this,"i want to go back to USA i can't stand here anymore i want to go to the country i know how to speak",so yea that why.I think is better for him to not be in India because if you got to new place where you never been you gonna really hurt yourself for being there since you don't know what to do and where to go and why your here without good language for them.If you think about it traveling different places might hurt your person guy,the fiction guy gonna be crying don't know what to do because every countries and rules and there all different from one rule to another so be sure to know what the rules are first or your fictional character gonna cry since he did not know anything else but USA stuff.
