Digital forensincs has changed drastically in the past 30 years. Technology has advanced so much that more can be accomplished and evidence can be made more apparent. However I believe that digital forensics can be both valuable and invaluable. There are many cases where digital evidence has been very helpful in convicting criminals who wouldnt have been caught without it but there are also many cases where evidence couldve been planted on peoples computer, data, and the investigator could wrongfully commit an inncent person. Without digital evidence there would be so many criminals that wouldn't have been caught and cases that wouldn't have been solved.
