Airport:
Barcelona has an airport called Barcelona-El Prat Airport. It's the
second-largest airport in Spain, and handles above 35 million passengers per
year. It is main hub for Vueling Airlines and Ryanair, Iberia and Air Europa.

Seaport: The
port of Barcelona has 2000 years of history and a great contemporary commercial
importance. It's Europe's ninth largest container port. The seaport is divided
in two sides; the first, the oldest, is a commercial port and is always full of
different ships which bring commercial products. The other side of the port i
dedicated to the tourism.

Railway:
There’s a lot of different lines of railways under the ground of Barcelona.
Almost all of them, are from Renfe which is the most important company of
trains. The railways can take you to the most opposite part of the city without
walking. That’s terrific. But there is also more railways that have a good
service.

Taxis: If
you are tired and you want to see buildings throw a car window, you can get in
a taxi (it’s a little expensive, everything has to be mentioned) and travel ahead
the city seeing the best sides of Barcelona.

SAGRADA
FAMÍLIA: This building is a demonstration of the modernism period. It is very
huge, and has lots of modernism statues. It was designed by Gaudí, but he died
before seeing it completely built. Now, it is not already built. The people say
that it is going to be finished in 2026. But, who knows, maybe we won’t see it
completed!

LA
MAQUINISTA: This building is a commercial centre. It has many shops inside and
sometimes, is a place where people celebrate concerts. People can buy clothes
from Hollister, Shanna, Zara… It’s visited for thousands of people per year,
usually young people, because they find their place there.

The history of Barcelona has different legends
that try to explain its origin, but the truth of its beginnings is this:

In 15 century BC, the romans wanted to conquer
Iberic peninsula and built some “costums”,
that were military camps. A roman military camp is the origin of this large and
huge city that now seems terrific because it’s enormous.  After romans, Germanic tribes lived on the
land where we actually find Barcelona. After the Germanics who beat the romans,
Arabs attacked Iberic peninsula and conquered the lands that habited the
Germanics, and called this land “Al-Andalus”. Finally, another Germanic tribe
called “Francs” conquered the north of Al-Andalus, including Barcelona. It
became the capital of the cash in IX century. Years later, the crown of
Catalonia and Aragó, made Barcelona their capital.

Barcelona has felt a lot of pain along its
life, like 1714, or the wars in XX century. But, luckily, now this city is an
important place of business, tourism and meeting. Barcelona… where we can find
many sides to visit (beach, La Maquinista, Sagrada Família) and where we
observe a big commercial activity almost always near the port.

You can visit the old part of Barcelona where you see some reminds of the romans' city.

You can visit Sagrada Familia and eat a little in the restaurants near it.

You can visit Columbus' statue, situated near the beach.

You can spend the day in the beach, having a good time with your family.

You can visit Agbar Tower that has a suppostory shape. Inside it, we find offices.

EQUIPMENT:

You will need sun-glasses if you go to Barcelona in summer.

You will need sunscreen if you go to the beach and it's hot.

You will need some waer fi you travell along the city

and you don't go to the hotel in a large period of time

You will need some food (for example, some cheese) if you don't want to spend money

in restaurants.

You will need some happiness if you want to walk too much... your legs will be so tired!

This island is so little, but it has the most handsome paysages -I think- in the world. The espectacular beaches, the strange animals, the vegetation. This island is INCREDIBLE!

NOUMEA COULDN'T BE CONTROLED

Nature reserve, known locally as Kune, his nickname comes from the Isle
of Pines many columnar pines of the island, which are reminiscent of sailboat
masts reflecting in the clear, turquoise waters.

The island is now justly famous for its exceptionally fine sand beaches and for
its culinary specialty, local snail, succulent, but, endangered, can not be
consumed on the spot.

You will stay at the Oure Lodge, nestled deep in the famous Kanumera Bay and
close to the beautiful beach of fine sand Kuto. The hotel combines high quality
services, excellent service and Melanesian traditions.

DISCOBER THE BIG LAND

The mountainous
heart of Grande Terre rises to over 1600 meters. It imposes border very
different landscapes, reflecting the richness of life, culture, scenery and
activities offered by New Caledonia.

PINE ISLAND

This hotel consists of different little houses that are along the coast. You can stay in one of them during the days you visit all those things.

This is a sector which
still lacks much developed. Numea, named gardens' city, gives to the
turists different places like monuments or natural landscapes where you can see
some indigenous villages.  Numea looks to
the sea, and it's full of different types of sea food. It has also a port,
which has some fishermen boats that go to open sea and fish some fishes
beautiful  There are also different
sports activities dedicated to young people, that are really bored in afternoon.
They play baseball and make car races.

You can bring sunscreen because of the sun too.

You can take some food because it's nice eating when you are over these trees.

CONCLUSIONS: I think both cities are interesting, but I'd enjoy so much visitting Noumea, because is less known. And is more beatiful than Barcelona
