There are tabs with the different things you can translate (Text, Documents, Websites) in many different languages. The document was translated from English to Spanish quickly with minimal error. It was also easy to download the translated document as a pdf.
Voice translation: Worked a little slow and had a few errors picking up the words said if spoken quickly. With a slower and clear tone the translation was correct. You create an avatar and go on a quest. There is always a button at the top corners or next to text that gives the option to have it read out loud. You cannot right click on any text to define it, but subject terminology has a question mark button that provides definitions. There are drawing and typing features that are required to be used at different times. There are a lot of very helpful tools to assist students. The text can be read aloud and you can change the settings. You can pick either a male or female voice and speed up or slow down the audio. My favorite features were the layout of the texts because there are so many options. Students can make the text bigger or smaller by zooming in. You can add black bars to help focus on the sentence that is being read. There is also a highlight that follows each word that is read. It did pick up my voice well if I talked at a slower pace. If I sped up it had a few mistakes with spacing between the words. It did have trouble spelling my name at times which I can see as an issue for some students. I tried to say capital "I" for my name because the first it made it lower case. It did capitalize the letter but it did not delete the word capital. The punctuation worked when I said "exclamation mark", "period", and "comma". Some times it capitalized the first letter of the sentence and at time it did not. There is a word high light setting that can be turned on. It is a small black box that high lights the word that is being read. I think this ig a great tool for students who are learning to read so they can work on sound-word association. The screen can also be zoomed in or out to help visually impaired individuals. The reader can also speed up or slow down the audio depending or other needs.
