In Florence, you can visit il duomo, built by Brunelleschi. I was always fascinated by HOW they built this in the 1200s. You can also see works of famous Renaissance artists such as Michelangelo. Besides the art and culture, the landscape there looks breathtaking. If I ever went, it would be a hard sell to get me back to NYC!
