Present in only plant cells
The cell wall is a rigid layer of polysaccharides lying outside the plasma membrane, and is the outer most layer of the cell. Cellulose fibers, structural proteins, and other polysaccharides are what makes up the cell wall and it help it to maintain the shape, form of the cell. It also acts as a gatekeeper, because it determines what can come in and out of the cell in order to keep the cell protected. This is a similar to the outer-construction of the building because it gives it structure, stability, and protection to everything inside of the airport which may be considered as the organelles.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3P6Ycqf9bqI

Present in both animal and plants cells
The cell membrane, also known as the plasma membrane, is a double layer of lipids and proteins that surrounds a cell and separates the cytoplasm (the contents of the cell) from its surrounding environment. It is selectively permeable, meaning it only allows certain proteins and ions to enter the cell, blocking harmful substances like bacteria from entering, control the amount of some substances that go into or out of the cell. This can compare to the security check , because they monitor and regulate the passengers entering and leaving the terminal, only allow certain people with tickets to enter, and doesnt allow harmful or suspicious things/activities into the airport. Although sometimes the cell membrane is unable to identify and successfully block bacteria from entering due to the way the bacteria camouflage themselves, similar to the security check where it is possible that the airplane ticket checkers make a mistake, and let the unsafe people in.

(EXTRA SIMILARITY: both the cell membrane and the security guards/ticket checkers are made of lipids, phosphates and proteins!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpcACa39YtA

Present in both animal and plants cells
The nucleus is a large organelle which stores genetic information and coordinates the cell's activities, and are necessary for the creation of the majority of the proteins needed to keep a cell functional, cell growth, development, and reproduction. The nucleus regulates the synthesis of proteins in the cytoplasm through the use of messenger RNA (mRNA), which is then transcribed into DNA segment that serves as a template for protein production. The nucleus is similar to control tower of the airport because all information about the flights are stored, and it plays a very important role in order for the airport to function well, eg; ( provide information and other support for pilots, directs aircrafts on the ground and in the air to prevent collisions etc.) It controls all the activities present in an airport.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sL7bE_PA_SE

The main function of nucleolus is to send and assemble subunits out to the rest of the cell where they combine into complete ribosomes, which is an indirect but crucial role in protein synthesis, and plays a vital role in making proteins in the cell. This relates to the computers present in the control tower, because they provide all the information of the flight data to the workers inside, just like how the nucleolus provides genetic information for the nucleus to create DNA.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NclXgGeqO0Y

Present in both animal and plant cells
The rough endoplasmic reticulum is an extensive organelle composed sealed sacs, which are contiguous with the nuclear membrane. It is called ‘rough’ endoplasmic reticulum because it is studded on its outer surface with ribosomes (are called membrane bound riobosomes), and are responsible for the assembly of many proteins (called translation), folding, quality checking, and export to other parts of the cell. Some of these proteins end up embedded in cell membranes to assist in metabolism, some become enzymes, and some become support structures. This can compared to the pathaway along the ticket printing areas, which are the ribosomes, and passangers receives their tickets from these "ribosomes" and then they are hustled to their respective flights.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5ikERQCE6M

We compared this to the terminals of the airport because it is where passengers are able to get on and off aircraft. Inside the terminal, passengers can buy tickets, leave or pick up their luggage, and be checked by security staff. The terminals organize the passengers, dividing them according to their destinations. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fkOo9S2ikk

9. Golgi apparatus

Present in both animal and plant cells
The Golgi apparatus also known as the Golgi body is a complex of vesicles and folded membranes within the cytoplasm of the Eukaryotic cells. It is responsible for processing, packaging and distribution of proteins and lipids. The Golgi body is similar to the conveyor belt/luggage sorter in the airport. This is because they both process and distribute something. How the Golgi body distributes proteins and lipids and the conveyor belt/luggage sorter distributes and processes suitcases and other packages. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTnNGIx5-P8

How we are exceeding expectations:

We believe that we've exceeded the expectations by putting a great amount of effort into analyzing the cell structure/function in depth, and providing a link below each structure to further the visual aspect to our assignment as well as providing audio within the videos which increases your understanding. In addition, each section is colour coded to better construct our display and is also visually appealing. By including an introduction, the basic understanding af a cell is defined which is necessary to acknowledge before learning about the rest of the cell parts. Lastly we also bolded the part of the airport which was the analogy to help make it easier to locate.

Introduction:

Cells are the basic building blocks of all living things, and is the smallest unit of an organism making it microscopic. Microscopic organisms typically consist of a single cell, which is either eukaryotic (have a nucleus and membrane bound organelles) or prokaryotic ( have chloroplasts, a cell wall and a central vacuole). The human body is composed of trillions of cells, providing structure for the body, take in nutrients from food, convert those nutrients into energy, and carry out specialized functions. Cells are made up of many parts, each with a different function. Some of these parts, called organelles, are specialized structures that perform certain tasks within the cell.
We have presented the 17 parts of a cell below. To start this off we have included a rap to help you learn about all parts to the cell while having a bit of fun, busting out some rhymes! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zafJKbMPA8

Isabel and Joanna, I love your peroxisome air filters, the control tower nucleus and the depth of your explanations. The website links are a bonus. Great work following criteria and adding detail!!
