This is my FAMILY! My beloved FAMILY!

They are like my favorite blankets. They have always kept me warm and comfortable ever since I was born. They are the ones who laugh at my jokes and make me feel better when I am down. I cherish every moment I spent with them. They teach me life lessons, such as how to be kind to others and how to be a brave and independent daughter. With my family nearby, I feel as if I can manage anything that burdens me. They are more than simply relatives. They are my friends and my biggest supporters, and life wouldn't be the same without them. THEY ARE MY RIDE OR DIE 💜

Having a get-to-know-each other session with my groupmates at our first Usrah class in the IIUM Mosque! We also played a game called "Two Truths, One Lie". It was a fun first class with much chit-chat and laughter! 🥰

Working with my Usrah friends (Anis, Intan, and Afiqah) on our Usrah presentation! It was a fun experience working with them! We all bring different ideas, skills, and perspectives into our poster. We also had some discussion in our group WhatsApp chat on how to make a great poster of advice in our daily Ibadah, and in the end, we found a way to work things out together. We weren't just looking forward to the final result, but we also learnt a lot of new things that we can share with our friends. It was such a fun journey, and we made great memories together. 📕

In a world where chaos reigns, my friends serve as pillars of light, guiding one another through the darkest hours and celebrating together under the brightest stars. Their laughter is like a soft song that fills my days, and their wisdom is the path that guides me to the right way. It's beautiful when they can accept me for who I am and what I am not, instead of trying to make me what they want me to be.

Nonetheless, urban planning course is not as easy as I thought it would be, but to my surprise, I have survived my third semester in here! I survived because of them. I really really really LOVE them, not just as friends but as my "sisters and brothers" who help me when I'm drowning. Today, I want to remember and cherish these priceless human beings who brighten my world with their presence. And for those who are not in the photos, I didn't forget you all. I love them all equally, and I am grateful to have you all by my side 🌹

As a student, I had a lot to discover, and I still have more to learn. Usrah is one of the classes where I enjoy learning. Each class provided great opportunities to broaden my knowledge and learn my full potential. I admitted that the lectures I received from Sr. Fariha in every class I attended were fascinating.

My wish and suggestion for improvement:

I wish that the next Usrah class will always be this fun and peaceful that students will look forward to attending the class after their stressful day. I also wish Usrah would have more outdoor activities, such as visiting a mosque together or celebrating the last class outside together. Truthfully, for me, Usrah with Sr. Fariha is unique because she always implements the three key steps while learning in class which is TAARUF, TAFAHUM, and TA'AWUN. I was having so much fun attending Usrah, and I hope Sr. Fariha will always have the fun and calm vibes when she is teaching 🤗

LETTER TO MY CLASSMATES AND NAQIBAH 🫧

To all of my Usrah classmates, even though we have only known each other for a short time, I am truly grateful to have you all as my Usrah classmates. From the very beginning, you all welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like I belonged, especially to my usrah group. Their kindness and willingness to help me have made every usrah class more enjoyable. Whether we are working on a group presentation, sharing laughs, or simply getting to know each other, I appreciate the genuine connections we have formed. I am thankful for all the memories we have created together.

Other than that, I am also grateful to my naqibah, Sr Nurfariha Akmal Fawwazah, for all of her teachings and the knowledge she has so generously shared with her students. To be honest, her guidance has not only deepened my understanding in faith of Islam but has also inspired me to become a better person every day. Through her sincere care, she has helped encourage me to grow spiritually and personally. I appreciate every lesson, every reminder, and every moment we shared in our Usrah class. Last but not least, her bright smile and positive influence on me will always remain a cherished part of my life.
