My Friend - who loves me when I can't love myself

I suffer from depression and anxiety. Its a fight everyday. Some days are easier and otehrs are unbearable. I do my best to work through and love my self on those days. It's never easy. Some days I cannot bring myself to love myself like I should. I might struggle to cook something or to do more than just lay in bed after I get home. However, my girlfriend never lets me just do those things. She encourages me to take care of myself. She'll help cook or ask me to walk around the neighborhood with her. She reminds me that these feelings will pass and I'm not alone. She loves me everyday even on the days I cannot love myself.

Hello Cross Keys Family. I am grateful for all my family. But I am infinitely grateful to have my parents alive. They are 85 years old and are in Venezuela. Even though I have not touched them for 8 years, I feel blessed to know that they are in every process of my life.

Today, I am thankful for my parents in heaven who watch over me daily as I do this work. All of the holiday events can be truly overwhelming for me during this time, but by focusing on the legacy of love they left, I feel empowered to face the season with a smile. Seeing everyone's pictures and hearing their stories reminds me that we have all loved....and lost....and helps me feel full of gratitude and community during a difficult season. I am so grateful for my children. They bring so much joy, love, and perspective into my life. They remind me that there is beauty in all things, don't sweat the small stuff, and to simply dance in the rain. Their unique personalities teach me every day about patience, resilience, and unconditional love. Heavy on the patience at times. LOL! Their laughter, creativity, and even their challenges enrich my life in ways I never anticipated. Above all, they make me a better person, encouraging me to grow, learn, and be the best version of myself. I am truly blessed.

I am grateful for my significant one. Without living parents or any children of my own, having an individual who shows similar love, care, and concern is a blessing. Though no one can ever take the place of my biological parents, even in their death, I am appreciative of the love that person's mom and children extend to me that helps fill a portion of that void. I am surrounded by love in various ways, but this person adds a special touch and understanding that makes and outstanding difference in my life. For this I am grateful!

I'm grateful for Master P. Since I was a young whipper snapper I always wanted to keep money in my pocket. His backstory and music made me want to hustle even more. In college I came up with the idea of charging people to take their trash to the dumpster. I made enough money to not worrying about waiting for free nights and weekends to use my cellphone. I am truly blessed to have my mother. She has had multiple health scares and is now bed bound. But she is trying hard to push herself on a daily basis. She stays positive and not only prays for herself but for others. She loves me unconditionally and loves her family. Also, she helps me stay positive and sane. I am Blessed!😇

Thankful for My Best Friend

Today, I just want to take a moment to express how thankful I am for my best friend in Leslie in Texas. You are so much more than a friend—you’re my therapist when I need to vent, my rock when life gets tough, and my ride-or-die no matter what comes our way.

I don’t know what I’d do without her constant support, love, and encouragement. She truly is my everything, and I’m beyond blessed to have her in my corner.

I just want to Thank her for being the incredible person she is. I love you more than words can ever express.

I am grateful for the guidance my mother continues to provide me as I navigate my own motherhood journey.
