MY OPINION ON THE PRINCIPLES OF INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION 4.0

Industry 4.0 is a new level of organization that manages and controls the whole value chain of personalized products to satisfy customer needs and is based on the concept of smart factory, where the machines are integrated with men through cyber-physical systems (CPS). Digitalization is the most important element in Industry 4.0 because it allows connecting of man and technology. To achieve these goals, it is necessary to implement new technologies for the automation of industrial processes. This is because the industry is undergoing transformation and evolution toward complete digitization and the intelligence of production processes to ensure high efficiency. This new work model focuses on the integrated man-machine approach through “sustainable” production.

There are six design principles in Industry 4.0 as follows:

Interoperability. The ability of cyber-physical systems (CPS), humans and Smart Factories to connect and communicate with each other via the Internet of Things (IOT) and the Internet of Services.

Virtualization. A virtual copy of the Smart Factory which is created by linking sensor data with virtual plant models and simulation models.

Decentralization. The ability of CPS within Smart Factories to make decisions on their own.

Real-Time Capability. The capability to collect and analyze data and provide the derived insights immediately.

Service Orientation. Offering of services of CPS, humans or Smart Factories via the Internet of Services.

Modularity. Flexible adaptation of Smart Factories to changing requirements by replacing or expanding individual modules.

Personally, my opinion about the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is an oppurtunity. Regarding to the facilities and internet access , it is an opportunity to every nations all around the world. Especially for the developing countries, as we can see before IR 4.0 , certain countries doesn't have any chances and privileges to develop their economic structures based on the previous revolution. IR 4.0 is all about digital and internet, the developing countries should take this circumstances as an opening door to increase their economy and sources. Different types of technology have been made to contribute to the fields like in agriculture, health, education, business, tourism even to maintain ecosystem in nature. It's an oppurtunity and to me, IR 4.0 is a really really big chance to certain nations to make some improvements for their economy.

Industrial revolution 4.0 is a digital revolution to combine traditional manufacturing prosses into technologies such as the Internet of thing (IoT) to enhance technological development in our country. In my view, the Industrial revolution 4.0 in Malaysia has undergone significant change in the economic sector. This can be seen as the world enter the 4.0 Industrial revolution, the computer connect and communicate with each other until they finally take over task and operational without the involvement in workforce. With the help of machines, high-tech machinery makes the factory operate more efficiently and effectively. Along with the rapid economic development and industrial progress, it is very important for organization to have competence in managing task and service both internally and externally. In the past, everything was done manually and took a long time, now with the technology enabling organization to connect with the customer, management and employees efficiently and effectively.

Revolusi perindustrian kedua pula melibatkan kuasa elektrik.

We are currently implementing the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This is characterised by the application of information and communication technologies to industry and is also known as "Industry 4.0". It builds on the developments of the Third Industrial Revolution. Production systems that already have computer technology are expanded by a network connection and have a digital twin on the Internet so to speak. These allow communication with other facilities and the output of information about themselves. This is the next step in production automation. The networking of all systems leads to "cyber-physical production systems" and therefore smart factories, in which production systems, components and people communicate via a network and production is nearly autonomous

In my opinion, Industry 4.0 give a great impact on various fields and industries. This development makes human life in this world become accelerating from day to day with advanced technology

Other than that we can see the nowdays, people can order food from home and the food will be delivered to the house. This is call Internet of Thing. We also can see, In Malaysia which is Mc Donalds we no need to queue at the counter because of the smart machine already have. We also can choose whether we want to pay cash at counter or just use debit card. In conclusion, I totally agreed that Industrial Revolution 4.0 brings many benefits in daily life.
in my view, the involvement of the fourth industrial revolution element in life is very influential. This is because by applying the elements of the fourth industrial revolution such as automation and robotics has helped many sectors in Malaysia. for example the data stored for the patent of a proton car feature can be stored efficiently and effectively to prevent data leakage to competitors. with the internet of thing I see that the level of production of a product can also be increased in a short time to meet industry needs current and future supply.
in addition, the presence of computing element is very helpful for every organization to store and access work information at all times. in addition, the augmented reality element is also seen to affect the field of education as well. This is because, by applying the real situation program can reduce the risk of loss of learning items as well as can increase the level of efficiency of a learning such as learning to repair aircraft components

My opinion on Industrial Revolution 4.0
Industry 4.0 refers to a new phase in the Industrial Revolution that focuses heavily on interconnectivity, automation, machine learning, and real-time data. Previously, the first industrial revolution depended on the use of steam-powered machines. The second industrial revolution involved electric power. Followed by the third industrial revolution based on information technology and computers as a pillar. This IR 4.0 will facilitate our work as many things are replaced with robots. IR 4.0 is also based on the use of technologies such as AI (artificial intelligence), robotics, virtual reality, and 3D printing. IR 4.0 is based on nine component including:

automation robots,

simulations,

system integration,

IoT,

cyber security,

cloud computing,

add-on manufacturing,

augmented reality,

big data analysis, as well as vertical and horizontal system integration

4th Revolution Industry

Fourth Industrial Revolution is one of the way that connected the boundaries between physical, digital and also biological worlds. All the things were improved day by day to adapt with the new revolution. As example, Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotic, the Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing, genetic engineering, quantum computing, and other technologies. As a result of this perfect storm of technologies, this revolution is paving the way for transformative changes in the way we live and radically disrupting everyone. 4IR is set to change society like never before, it builds on foundations laid by the first three industrial revolutions.

Focus of the technologies of 4IR
-	Artificial intelligence (AI) describes computers that can “think” like humans — recognizing complex patterns, processing information, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations.
-	Blockchain is a secure, decentralized, and transparent way of recording and sharing data, with no need to rely on third-party intermediaries.
-	New computational technologies are making computers smarter. They enable computers to process vast amounts of data faster than ever before, while the advent of the “cloud” has allowed businesses to safely store and access their information from anywhere with internet access, at any time.
-	Virtual reality (VR) offers immersive digital experiences (using a VR headset) that simulate the real world, while augmented reality merges the digital and physical worlds
-	Biotechnology harnesses cellular and biomolecular processes to develop new technologies and products for a range of uses, including developing new pharmaceuticals and materials, more efficient industrial manufacturing processes, and cleaner, more efficient energy sources.
-	Robotics refers to the design, manufacture, and use of robots for personal and commercial use.
-	3D printing allows manufacturing businesses to print their own parts, with less tooling, at a lower cost, and faster than via traditional processes.
-	Innovative materials, including plastics, metal alloys, and biomaterials, promise to shake up sectors including manufacturing, renewable energy, construction, and healthcare.
-	The IoT describes the idea of everyday items — from medical wearables that monitor users’ physical condition to cars and tracking devices inserted into parcels — being connected to the internet and identifiable by other devices.
-	Energy capture, storage, and transmission represent a growing market sector, spurred by the falling cost of renewable energy technologies and improvements in battery storage capacity.

In my opinion, there were many positive sides of 4th revolution industry. 4IR bring us to a new and better live. We can do anything easier and more effectively with the technologies. The increases changes of the revolution, the more technologies live we were facing. This revolution also helps people to improve themselves with soft skills, built critical thinking and teach us to upgrade social and generate more income

In my opinion the development of the industrial revolution gave a lot of changes over time. Nowadays, the industrial revolution has reached the stage of the creation of increasingly sophisticated technology that does not require manpower to operate a system or equipment.
Technology that combines the biological, physical and digital worlds and produces a variety of new technologies that impact various disciplines, economies and industries. In Industry 4.0, the system will integrate more widely. Different computers will communicate through a network of software or applications that will facilitate communication and data transmission. In the machinery manufacturing industry, system integration is very useful because the production progress (production progress) between factories will be faster updated and the operation of the industry will be more smooth and efficient.
This increasingly advanced technology also proves that all management systems can also be controlled using computers and the internet. This is because by using current technology, the system is more disciplined in organizing all the schedules that have been set. Therefore, it is increasingly reducing manpower to always be vigilant in a management. In addition, technology is now also able to control the quality of a product production. In fact, able to control the quantity required.

The Industrial Revolution

In my opinion, the industrial revolution is a process where a human being starts to improve their living lifestyle. As time goes by, many types of inventions have been created and this process of improvement can be seen in the development of the Industrial Revolution from 1.0 until 4.0.

1st Industrial Revolution happened in the late 18th century where it is the starting point that first begins in Britain. The industries are famous in agriculture, manufacturing and transportation. This cause the efficiency of agricultural product and textile expenditure.

2nd Industrial Revolution happened in the early 19th century where it is famous in the usage of telegraph and track or rail construction. This caused efficiency in the transportation system and industry manufacturing dan production.

3rd Industrial Revolution happened in the middle of the 19th century where it is famous in the digital where the analogue and mechanical system are changing towards digital. This revolution causes the use of digital logic circuits and high-scale output and non-physical human interaction to happen.

Whereas in the 4th Industrial Revolution is happening until now where there is a combination of various physical cyber systems such as robots, the internet of things and autonomous vehicles.
